Mountains, Valleys, and Rivers
We started the day off at Rosh Hanikra where we explored caves and saw magnificent scenery. Following that experience, we drove to the East where we saw the military base and the Golan.
During this experience, we heard explosions coming from the Syrian border. This reminded us of the fragility of peace and how important the IDF is for the survival of the state of Israel. Following this experience, we travelled to lunch and then were given the privilege of trying local olive oils. Then, we rafted the Jordan River, where we enjoyed each other's company and floated in the cool waters of the Jordan River. Additionally, the walrus (sussi) was an item of great interest, with a competition lasting the entirety of the journey down river.
As the day comes to an end, we can reflect on the great deal of knowledge we have gained and the amazing places we have seen.
